If you need 3/16” crown A/D series staples, you are in the right place. Constructed from 22-gauge wire, these are superb, galvanized staples that will meet most any upholstery need. As you may know, staples are not used in locations in which they would be visible, since their functionality as a fastener trumps their appearance. That said, you will find them very useful in constructing and repairing upholstery, especially on the underside where the gauzy fabrics can easily tear. Whether you are a do-it-yourselfer or a furniture craftsman or manufacturer, the galvanized staples on this page will provide the quality you seek.
While the crowns are all 3/16”, you will find lengths from 3/8” to 5/8”. As a craftsman or manufacturer, you may need to fasten a thick fabric into the furniture wood, which will require a longer staple leg. If you are merely stapling a light fabric, the shorter length will do the job. Because these are 3/16” crown A/D series staples, they will fit only specific guns so make sure that you are buying the right series for the gun(s) you are using.
As a hobbyist, you may need a relatively small number of staples, whereas a manufacturer will require much larger quantities. The selections on this page address both needs. The hobbyist can buy as few as 10,000 staples, while the manufacturer can purchase a case of twenty five times that amount at a savings of $125.
The other fact that you will notice about the products on this page is that you can buy them in a galvanized or a liquor finish. While the latter versions are slightly costlier, they also tend to blend with the furniture fabric so they may be used in areas that are more visible. As a result, you may be able to make your galvanized staples go further for your projects.
