Duplex Strip Nails

The RHNDUP series 21 Degree Plastic Strip Duplex Nails are available in only one grade of corrosion resistance; Brite (Non-Galvanized):

Brite (Non-Galvanized) is best suited for interior, non-exposure applications where corrosion is not a factor. No corrosion resistance. Not recommended for ACQ Treated Lumber.

Duplex strip nails are commonly used for general construction work like precast concrete forming. What makes them ideal for temporary work applications is the duplex head or double heads found on the nail. Unlike regular nails with one head which become thoroughly embedded into a surface, duplex nails have a second head that remains exposed, thus making it easier to remove the nail when it's time to dismantle the concrete form boards.

Duplex strip nails possess low pull out resistance and have a high utility value because they quickly installed and removed. Aside from precast concrete form applications, these nails may also be used for other construction jobs such as wooden scaffolding, wood blocking for flatbed trucks, rail cars, or any temporary construction project that will inevitably be dismantled. Duplex nails may also be used for building racks, braces, and other temporary support structures that don't require permanent holding power.

The smooth shank of our duplex strip nails also allows for simple installation when framing boards together. Nail shanks that have spirals or rings around them provide additional holding power and are best used for other construction jobs such as flooring or siding work.

To speed up your productivity you can use our duplex nails with the NailPro Duplex Strip Framing Nailer available here at FastenerUSA. This 3 in One 21 Degree Plastic Collated Strip Nailer uses Duplex Head, Standard Framing Head, and Reversible Nails. The 3 fastener options and acceptable ranges are 2" - 3 1/4" x .131 Plastic Strip Duplex Nails, 2" - 3 1/2" x .131 Standard Full Round Head Plastic Strip Framing Nails, and 2” - 3” x .113 Combo Drive "Reversible Nails" Plastic Strip Collated Screws. Using a nail gun instead of manually hammering the nails into the surface not only saves you valuable time and effort but also protects you from potential injuries.

We currently carry 2 1/2", 3", and 3 1/4" x .131" smooth brite duplex strip nails which you may order by the bulk. Available box quantities are 1,000, 2,000, or 4,000 nails depending on your needs. Our duplex nails are 21 degree angle nails collated with a plastic strip made of 10 gauge non galvanized brite steel.

We ship free anywhere in the USA with 3–5 delivery days, and we don't have a minimum order requirement.
