Here at FastenerUSA we offer our PDA series (PDA stands for Paslode DeWalt Angle) 16 gauge 20 degree angle finishing nails in three grades of corrosion resistance including Electro Galvanized, 304 Grade Stainless Steel, and 316 Grade Stainless Steel:
Electro Galvanized 16 gauge angled finish nails are best suited for interior trim applications and light exterior outdoor projects where corrosion is not a concern. Electro Galvanization provides a very thin layer of zinc coating with a measure of protection against the elements. Over time 16 gauge angled finish nails may corrode with prolonged exposure to the elements. Not recommended for ACQ Treated Lumber.
304 Grade Stainless Steel dewalt angled finish nails are best suited for typical outdoor applications to avoid nail corrosion and discoloration. ACQ-treated lumber, redwood, cedar, and acidic or oil-based exotic woods.
316 Grade Stainless Steel 20 degree finish nails are best suited for tropical, seaside, salt water contact applications, or any project near large bodies of water. Recommended for all outdoor applications with ACQ-treated lumber, redwood, cedar, and acidic or oil-based exotic woods where Marine Grade fasteners are needed to avoid unsightly stains, streaks, corrosion and discoloration.
Choose from sizes ranging from 1 1/4" to 2 1/2" for your requirements or purchase our variety packs for an assortment of our popular sizes.
Dewalt angled finish nails nails are commonly used for finish carpentry and trim woodworking projects such as moulding, baseboards, chair rails, panelling, door and window casings, picture frames, hardwood flooring, and furniture. They can also be used in upholstery trim panels and nailable plastic parts.
We recommend our stainless steel 16 gauge 20 degree nails for outdoor DIY and commercial projects to prevent unsightly discoloration and nail rusting. These nails can also be used for ACQ-treated lumber, redwood, cedar, and acidic or oil-based exotic woods. For applications that may come into contact with salt water or are near large bodies of water, 316-grade stainless steel nails should be used. These are marine-grade nails suitable for extreme environments.
