Compatible with 28 degree angle framing nailers, our 28 degree wire strip nails of various specifications in this section all meet and/or exceed the United States standard for Hot Dip Zinc Mass Coating of ASTM A153 Class D Fasteners.
28 degree A153-D hot dip galvanized nails are Wire collated (held together) which hold the fasteners in a strip. Unlike paper tape, plastic strip, or plastic band collation, these are not susceptible to coming apart during cold jobsite conditions. Our HDGW grade nails are cut to length with heads formed from a large spool of Hot Dipped wire rod.
Perfect for applications such as framing, decking, siding, fencing, cementious fiber board trim products, and box and crate assembly.
Hot Dip Galvanized Nails meet the minimum requirement for ACQ-treated lumber. However, despite the higher corrosion resistance of hot-dipped galvanized nails, we do not recommended them for ACQ-treated wood. Stainless steel is a more suitable choice for this type of lumber.
