E-Coat SDWC TRUSS Screws SDWC15450-KTThese screws are 4 1/2" length (4 1/4" thread length), 0.152" diameter, T30 6-Lobe star drive. E-Coat. The Strong-Drive® SDWC structural wood screw provides a stud-to-bottom plate or stud-to-top plate connection as well as fastening trusses and rafters to top plates. The full-threaded shank engages the entire length of the fastener providing a secure connection. The SDWC is tested in accordance with ICC-ES AC233 (screw) and AC13 (wall assembly and roof-towall assembly) for uplift and lateral loads between wall plates and vertical wall framing and between the top plate and the roof rafters or trusses. Each box contains 50 screws, driver bit, and a metal installation guide tool.

Technical installation data

E-Coat is an Electrocoating which utilizes electrical current to deposit the coating material on the fastener. After application, the coating is cured in an oven. Electrocoating provides a minimum amount of corrosion protection and is intended for dry, non-corrosive applications only.
