16 GAUGE 7/16 CROWN HEAVY-DUTY STAPLES

Our selection of 7/16" crown staples come in a variety of grades and shank types to fit your needs. These staples are made from 16 gauge galvanized steel wire rod. We offer a range of staples lengths from 1/2" to 2".

The N series 16 gauge staples are available in four different grades of corrosion resistance including Bright Basic (Non-Galvanized), Electro Galvanized, 304 Grade Stainless Steel, and 316 Grade Stainless Steel:

Brite in this senario is best suited for very specific food grade fruit and nut tray applications when zinc needs to be avoided. Brite Basic provides no protection against the elements. If left exposed these 7/16" crown staples will corrode. Not recommended for ACQ Treated Lumber.

Electro Galvanized is best suited for standard applications and light exterior outdoor projects where corrosion is not a concern. Electro Galvanization provides a very thin layer of zinc coating with a measure of protection against the elements. Over time these 7/16" crown staples may corrode with prolonged exposure to the elements. Not recommended for ACQ Treated Lumber.

304 Grade Stainless Steel 16 gauge staples are best suited for typical outdoor applications to avoid corrosion and discoloration. ACQ-treated lumber, redwood, cedar, and acidic or oil-based exotic woods.

316 Grade Stainless Steel 16 gauge staples are best suited for tropical, seaside, salt water contact applications, or any project near large bodies of water. Recommended for all outdoor applications with ACQ-treated lumber, redwood, cedar, and acidic or oil-based exotic woods where Marine Grade fasteners are needed to avoid unsightly stains, streaks, corrosion and discoloration.
