These 3/4" length Hi-5/16" drive Hex Washer Head ZINC PLATED Self-Drilling screws are #10-16 with REVERSE SERRATIONS (16 threads per inch) #3 Point, .160-.178 Head Height. Reverse serrations are normally found under the head of the screw to aid in slowing down the final set of the screw to assist in possible stripping. The serrations also aid in locking the screw in the material providing protection from vibration. Meets F.I.P.-1000.7 for torsional strength and drill speed. Meets ASTM A 510 for carbon steel manufacturing. Zinc plating meets ASTM B-117 for salt spray corrosion. Meets SAE J78 for performance & dimensional specifications.
