Ni-Mh (Nickel-Metal Hydride) technology is an improvement over Ni-Cd (Nickel-Cadmium) Our GD409 Ni-Mh are a higher capacity 3.3Ah (Amp-hours) which translates into more ties per charge compared to the original JP409 Ni-Cd 2.0Ah. Ni-Mh batteries have NO MEMORY EFFECT and an initial 24 HOUR CHARGE IS NOT REQUIRED. Rechargeable with Max JC212G, JC212GI chargers as well as the GD212 battery charger.
