7/8" Masonry Anchor OMG MA316 for Attaching Term Bar to Concrete or Masonry Walls
The OMG Masonry Anchor is designed to attach termination bar to concrete or masonry walls. This fastener has a zinc plated steel pin.

Features & Benefits
- Typical pullout values in cured concrete (3000 psi) are 400 lbs. (181.6kg) for the 3/16-in. (4mm) shank diameter, 800 lbs. (363.2kg) for the 1/4-in. (6mm) shank diameter zinc alloy anchors.
Application
- Predrill a 1/4-in. or 3/16-in. (6 or 5mm) hole using a carbide tip masonry drill bit. The diameter of the hole must match the shank diameter of the Masonry Anchor. The predrilled hole must be a minimum of 1/2-in. (13mm) deeper than the anchor embedment. The OMG Masonry Anchor is then installed with a hammer.
- Minimum fastener embedment into the wall should be 5/8-in. (16mm) for the 3/16-in. (4mm) shank Masonry Anchor and 3/4-in. (20mm) for the 1/4-in. (6mm) shank Masonry Anchor.
Masonry Anchor Installation Procedure
- Insert OMG Masonry Anchor through the mounting holes in the termination bar and into the predrilled hole.
- Tap lightly until head of anchor body is set gently against the termination bar.
- Hammer pin flush to expand the body.

- To be used with channel, lip, flat or heavy flat termination bar depending on application.

- Use a 1/4-in. or 3/16-in. (6 or 4mm) carbide tip masonry drill bit.
